MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Motor Sich includes an after-sales service division (Product Support Department – PRODUCT SUPPORT DEPARTMENT)
that provides technical support of all manufactured aircraft engines within the whole period of their operation.
Product Support Department is the main link connecting the Company with numerous Operators.
All Product Support Department relations with customers are regulated by the concluded contracts: at present, more
than 360 contracts are in force, as well as 273 additional agreements to them concerning technical support of en-
gines, extension of service life, performance of in-service light overhaul, and other services.
In 2013, Product Support Department:
n
has rendered various services to the amount of 230.3 million UAH;
n
has performed light overhaul of 53 engines: where 42 engines has been overhauled in service and 11 engines in
Technical Centers (Technical Center “МSME” in UAE; Technical Center “Borisfen-Avia” in Russia);
n
mastering of new production processes for in-service light overhaul of the AI-450MS, D-436-148, TV3-117VMA-
SBM1V, D-336-2-8, D-436TP and MS-14 engines is under way;
The sphere of Product Support Department activity has become wider, as new gas-pumping stations were put into op-
eration in Iran, Turkey, Turkmenia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Currently, one hundred
and eleven engines are being operated at gas-pumping stations, and 11 engines are operated at power stations.
Presently, highly experienced specialists of Product Support Department render in-service support of the following new
products:
n
the D-436-148 and AI-450-МS engines powering the An-148-100B and An-158 airplanes operated in airports in
Kiev, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Havana (Cuba) etc.
n
the TV3-117VMA-SBM1 and AI9-3B engines powering the An-140-100 airplanes operated in airports in Yakutsk,
Moscow, Zaporozhye and Iran;
n
the D-436TP engines powering the Be-200 airplanes operated by Ministry for Emergency Situations of the RF and
Azerbaijan;
n
the AI-25TLK engines powering the K-8J airplanes operated in China, Sudan, Bolivia and Venezuela;
n
the AI-222-25 engines powering the L-15 airplanes operated in China.
